The National Railroad Memorial, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation.

All donations are tax exempt. Our mission is to honor the men and women of the railroad industry by educating the public as to the importance of their roles in our nation's past, present and future. We are doing this by building a National Railroad Memorial to be located in a beautiful three acre park, known as Diamond District Park. The park will be located in downtown Durand, Michigan, across from the Michigan Railroad History Museum and historic Durand Union Station. A concurrent congressional resolution was introduced in the United States House of Representatives on June 16, 2011 for designation of the memorial as the National Railroad Memorial.

One Share in the park costs $10.00. You can purchase as many shares in the park as you wish, each for $10.00. Ownership of the shares makes you an honorary stakeholder in the Memorial and the Park.
